Hi all, the Johnston County Democratic Women have requested our assistance. They are hosting a Johnston County Democratic Rally on September 16th from 5:30 - 8:30. What we've been asked to do is to put up advertisement posters throughout the county.
If everyone could take ten and put them up at convenient stores, restaurants, and grocery stores, we can get them all out!
The JCD Women and I would greatly appreciate any of you taking any amount of posters! Please let me know if you can help. Call me and I'll meet you anywhere to get you some signs.

Message from Our President
Dear all,
I want to first introduce myself to any that have not met me before. My name is Mike Little, and I am currently a Clayton resident. I was recently elected Johnston County Young Democrats President at the Party's annual convention. I am truly looking forward to working with each of you in this exciting year of politics, campaigns, the Democratic Party, and democracy.As young people, whether 18 or 35, we have the opportunity (and/or, depending on your perspective, the responsibility) to work towards the improvement of our county, state, and country. I know that I have some exciting ideas to spread the Democratic Party's ideals throughout our area in the upcoming year and I hope that you do as well. I'd love to hear these ideas.Just as importantly, I hope that everyone takes a chance to vote in the upcoming primary on May 6 (or earlier at any of the following locations during their alloted hours: http://www. johnstonnc. com/mainpage. cfm?category_level_id=1042).
Once the primary is completed, I want to hold a meeting (I'd like to get some feedback from some of you as to a night that will regularly work better or work the least) and get a chance to discuss what we as young Democrats can do to most improve the party and its candidates' chances of winning their elections. I'd like to help orchestrate an opportunity for us to meet and interact with our candidates so that we can understand that they're not just simply a name on a ballot.I really want to hear from each of you that might be interested in any capacity that you would be willing to serve.
